I am an Austin native. From an early age I was determined to become a lawyer to help others achieve the justice they deserve. Being injured because of someone else’s negligence is one of the most frustrating things that can happen to a person. Having been in a multi-vehicle collision myself, I understand the stress and pain of dealing with the aftermath of a collision. I will strive to make sure you understand the legal process, get the treatment you need to recover, and are compensated for your injuries.
In pursuit of my dreams, I attended Texas State University—San Marcos where I graduated summa cum laude. I then attended St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas where I learned the art of negotiation as a member of the negotiations team. After law school, I practiced personal injury at a big law firm in Houston, Texas. I have experience in a wide array of personal injury cases, including work-related injuries, slip and falls, products liability, and accidents involving 18-wheelers, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, and motor vehicles. Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to volunteer with multiple organizations doing pro bono work in Bexar and Harris County. I am a proud member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association. I am licensed to practice law in all state courts in the State of Texas and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and attended Pflugerville High School. After graduating, I attended Texas State University—San Marcos, where I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. After college, I worked as a clerk on the Natural Resources Committee in the Texas House of Representatives, which inspired me to attend law school. I first worked for two years as the only paralegal in a San Antonio law firm to gain experience in the legal field. Then I attended the University of Houston Law Center, regularly made Dean’s List, and interned at a big personal injury firm and at the Texas Railroad Commission.
I am dedicated to helping people obtain justice both at the trial court and appellate level. Nothing makes me happier than listening to a client, explaining the best path forward, and representing them zealously. I am a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. I am licensed to practice in all state courts in the State of Texas.
